All children in Key Stage 2 are invited to apply to become a Faith Ambassador. Faith Ambassadors play an important role in supporting the spiritual life of our school. Their responsibilities include:

• Assisting with class-based acts of worship
• Ensuring prayer tables in each classroom are prepared appropriately in line with the liturgical calendar
• Helping to set up for Masses and assemblies
• Reading during Masses and Gospel assemblies
• Managing presentation slides during Masses and Gospel assemblies
• Attending Faith Ambassador training days.

Some of our Faith Ambassadors visited St Michael’s for a special day. Together, we joined in prayer, took part in engaging Catholic Social Teaching activities, and explored the upcoming Gospel readings through drama.This visit provided a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to meet Faith Ambassadors from other schools across the St Thomas Catholic Academies Trust. It was an enriching and enjoyable experience for all involved.
