Prayer and Worship
Prayer and worship are central to the daily life of our school. We strive to nurture children’s spiritual growth and development by providing opportunities to experience a wide range of prayer and forms of worship.
Each day begins with prayer, we pray together before lunch, and we come together again in prayer at the end of the day. Every classroom has a liturgically based prayer table, which serves as a focal point for prayer and reflection.

Praying together is also at the heart of our school mission statement: “We Work Together, We Pray Together, We Grow Together.” At the start of each academic year, children explore how we live out our mission statement, including the many ways we pray together as a school community.

We come together in prayer during our weekly Gospel assemblies, Key Stage assemblies and Pupil of the Week celebrations.
Regular visits to our school chapel provide valuable opportunities for classes to pray together, with a focus on the Church’s seasons and celebrations.
We also have our own St Louis prayer, which is an important part of our shared faith life.

Termly Masses bring us together as one school community, united in prayer and worship, helping us to deepen our relationship with God and with one another.
